We will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon with the selling of the rare books. You may continue to preview the non-book part of the auction during the book auction. At 5:30 PM we will begin selling the rest of the antiques and collectibles. The doors will open at 2:00 PM for inspection and preview. Rare Books include 1762 Thomas Chippendale’s Gentleman and Cabinet-Makers Directory with extensive plates & 1803 Thomas Sheraton’s The Cabinet Dictionary with extensive plates prepared by the London Mechanics Institute; 1924 first edition in 3-vols Dictionary of English Furniture by Macquoid & Edwards; 1902 first edition Ancient Coffers & Cupboards by Roe; collection of illustrated art books, monographs, and exhibition catalogues of modern artists such as Picasso, Degas, Cezanne, Rousseau, Matisse by Fry with 4-artist “drawn” silk-screens; etc.; 1854 McKenney’s Indian Tribes of No. America, vol.
